Overview
We've been serving the needs of area residents since
1972, making us one of the most experienced managed
care organizations in the state. In addition, our provider
network is locally managed.
Our Benefit Plans
In Arizona, we offer a variety of health benefit plans.
Network Plans:
- CIGNA HealthCare HMO
- Network
Point-of-Service Plans:
- CIGNA Health Access
- Network Point-of-Service
Our CIGNA HealthCare HMO is offered by CIGNA HealthCare
of Arizona, Inc. CIGNA Health Access is offered by CIGNA
HealthCare of Arizona, Inc. and Connecticut General Life
Insurance Company. Our Network and Network Point-of-Service
plans are offered and/or administered by Connecticut General
Life Insurance Company. The Network plan is offered in
Arizona on a self-funded, administrative services only
basis and not on an insured basis.

Our
Provider Network
We offer considerable choices. In the Phoenix area, CIGNA
HealthCare offers access to three provider networks:
CIGNA Medical Group
o Serves Maricopa County and the City of Apache Junction.
o When you select a physician in our CIGNA Medical Group,
you won't have to run all over town to get health care.
We have many of the services you need in one place.
o There are 17 CIGNA HealthCare Centers located throughout
the Valley. You can see your primary care physician, get
lab work and x-rays done, and get your prescription filled,
without ever leaving the building. Many centers offer
specialty care and some centers even offer full optical
and hearing services.
Central and Northern
Arizona Network
o Serves the counties of Apache, Coconino, Gila, Maricopa,
Mohave, Navajo, Pinal, Yavapai and Yuma.
o Offers access to more than 1,150 PCPs and 3,180 specialists.
o The CIGNA Medical Group is a part of our Central and
Northern Arizona Network.
CIGNA CareNetwork®
o Serves Maricopa County and the City of Apache Junction.
o Offers access to a network of private practice physicians
and the CIGNA Medical Group. |
